for beside matter of fact, wherein they all consent, viz that they frequently meet with ice meers (for so they call cakes of ice coming from the bottom) in thin clay rise; and sometimes in the under side including stones and gravels brought with them at times, it seems upon consideration, also consonant to reason.

--------- that he once knew a habitat casually fall overboard into the river near Wallingford which was afterwards brought up & found in one of these ice-meer. p. 28 & 29.
