Hooker says with respect to Agassiz on Glacial action on Organ Mts that Vaccinium, Drosera & Habenaria are Tropical form, though I think northern form — He says Fuschia & some Southern forms exist there. He asks why, like to Island, Birds may not have carried seed — because wd. alight & no migration from one to other & no oceanic currents
