Australian Genera that advance beyond the Northern Tropic in Asia, but not in Europe- these are not included in European list of Genera - all are eminently Australian Genera.

Microtis rara (Orchidicæ) inhabits N. Zealand, Java, and Bonin!

Carex littorea - New Zealand and Japan

Bæckia - reaches China.

Stackhousia - a species is found in the Philippine Islands.

Stylidium - reaches Hong-kong.

Haloragis micrantha inhabits temperate regions of India and found also in Japan.

Lagonophora also inhabits temp: regions of India and China: the species being identical or almost so with a Tasmanian one.
