Ap 13 /70/ Sir W. Thompson shows from light, electricity & kinetic action of Gases - 3 commonest sources, the distances at which the molecules of matter must stand from each other. No doubt organic molecules are much more complex & therefore larger than the molecules of glass or water &c to which Sir. W. T. refers; yet George's calculation shows what million or millions must be contained within a cube of 1/10,000 of an inch & this is less than any spermatozoon(?) Nor can I see any just grounds for denying that a single molecule from muscle-cell - or brain cell, might increase & generate itself.
