Cut sections of the same same young upper leaf that had a bit cut out. No aggregated spheres visible

The pallisade cells are very full of green granular matter of a healthy green. By adding a little alcohol to get rid of air it can plainly be seen that all cel the pallisade cells are full of chlorophyll bodies— In many the cells seemed so full of them / so that they made a mosaic work. In some the outlines of the chlorophyll bodies were faint so that the contents could not easily be di seen to be made of chlorophyll bodies— In a normal leaf of similar age the chlorophyll bodies are as a rule sharper in outline; but some cells had mosaic works very similar to the ammonia leaf.

Put cut-leaf into ammonia to look for reaggregation make section of a bit of one oldest leaves Drosera — weak infusion of meat for 24 hr — examine curled tentacles on 2 leaves
