G.T. Turner, a farmer, finds that rubbing the tails of horned cattle just below the root makes them invariably first twist their bodies, they stretch out their necks & commence licking their own lips.
Also hand-fed calves biting their tails; p. 46 [illeg] beating a crust on Dn. kingfishers [illeg]
