Hevea spruciana (Indian Rubber Plant) Lycopodiaceæ pla roots thick placed at 2° 40' P.m on Dec. 5 in sol. of 4 to 1000 & examined 9° a.m showed no clear signs of aggregation. —
Slices of roots which had been immersed, as above, in the C. of A. were left for about 2° in watch-glass of water with 2 drops of 1 per c. of osmic A.—
In many of these roots no agg in exterior cells, but in some many cells were filled with agg. orange matter & a few with dark-brown almost black— granular matter. There were also in the underlying parenchyma cells (as in Eu. peplus) several isolated cells filled with dark brown, almost black granular matter.)
