Fern Nephrodium (sp. described in Movement of Plants) for 20° in sol. of 4 to 1000 — some granular matter in cells near tip & more or less confluent globules in immediately underlying parenchyma cells.

In another species granular matter very distinct but only in epidermic cells near tip & in loose cells of root-cap
