Gongora maculata

A small dead ant & viscid disc all glued together at mouth of stigma, but pollen-masses not inserted.

The pollinia left in the sun for nearly 5 hours became much thinner, like a thin sheet when compared with fresh ones, & cd now be inserted without any difficulty into the narrow stigmatic cleft or chamber.
