Some encrinites are composed of at least 150 thousand pieces of bone & branched in complex manner & perfectly symmetry every part except the stem & basal cup, being repeated 5 times —

Carpenter Phil. Transact 1866 — shows that basal plates in each .arm differ, some 5 or 7 I think — In th cup of Encrinite, how many different plates??
