Colquhoon More & Loch case of Retriever killing 2 ducks & Hutchinson Dog breaking — exactly parallel case with brace of Partridges — perhaps so good a case of reason — & this confirmed, worth giving —
In the latter case the dog might have returned for dead bird, so reason not perfect— perhaps not perfect in former case.— give latter first & then add perhaps hence we overrate the power of reason in former case
