p. 18 - In first year great Canines absent - in old age were 3 inch long unless broken by fighting - in old females at this age a rudiment scarcely 1/2 a line above gums.
p. 23 an excellent account of odoriferous glands in all manes & which are common to 2 sexes.
p. 24. about consistence & quantity not increasing at time of rut, admits its presence connected with reproduction, but gives only conjectural & unsatisfactory explanation
