Textor erythrorhynchus a distinct bird, which undergoes a wonderful change of plumage both sexes indistinguishable in winter (p. 10 my MS.) does not know about females undergoing double moult – [illeg] undergo a wonderful season change

J. J. W Disbelieves p. 62 about deep affection of birds - may be [uneasy] for few days –says such stories apocryphal. Blyths had account of affection for animal.

I had better say nothing about genesis of coloured spots of colour in feathers

See about Spurs B. denies any fowl have spurs except. P. muticus.

Young ♀ Blackcaps like adult ♀. Blackcap: in young ♂ cap nigrescent. Tringas are intermediate like Yarrell's law (Tringa)
