Jan 5 - 1868 No Doubt Rein-deer's progenitors had horns for courting & then through the failure of inheritance at corresponding ages, the young males acquired them at early age, & then were transferred to female this is probable steps - Not likely that primordially parent of Rein-deer differed so much from all genera in period of first acquirement of Horns –
