Twenty-seventh "Annual Report of the Registrar General 1866 p. XXV. Throughout England 104.2 males to 100 females. In Rutland 114.6 to 100. In Westmoreland 95.9 males to 100 females. (See M. Thury (8vo. Pamphlet 315) on Jews and large percentage of males "La Loi de Production des Sexes 1863" p. 25, states on average 104-107 male birth to female
But Jews of Prussia 113 : 100 — Jews of Breslaw 114 : 100 — Jews of Livourne 120 : 100 (Valentin) Christian of Livourne 104 : 100. —
(In the "Annuaire pour l' an 1867." p. 213 it is shown that during 44 years throughout France the births of boys are very nearly as 17 : 16. Therefore boys, to girls ie. as 106.2. to 100
But during these 44 years it has happened 65 times in certain Departments that female birth have exceeded the male, as we see above in England. This excess of females has occurred, during the 44 year, 4 times in Department of Corsica Corse & Alpes Hautes — 5 times in Alpes Basses & 6 times in Corrèze
