My dearest Fanny

I must thank you for writing so fully & for telling me about Charles. Your impression of our poor child's looks was a comfort. Your being there is an immense comfort

to Charles & I think you are quite right to let him do as much as he can as it must be the greatest relief he has. If he should be ill your being there will be a double blessing.

I feel today very awful

being the end of the fortnight. I was sorry I sent for Etty when I heard of the pleasant scheme for her, but Mrs Rich & Snow had not the heart to disappoint her so she was off before Bessy arrived & I am quite satisfied.
