27 September "Mr Pattrick came"

30 September "Pattricks went Joanna & Susie"

My dear George

I am disappted at your account of yourself ─ We have a nice day here ─ as I hope you have ─ Mrs Pattrick Louisa & the little children are coming today. Camilla for a week & Louisa & the children for 3 days ─ I hope Bernard will behave pretty well to them ─

Sales agrees to sell the land for 225 an acre ─ to which we agree ─ & I expect a good deal of fun in the arrangement ─ We did not know your address

so there has been some delay in the note from Sir John ─ The Moores come on Sat ­─ but we don't know about the [Pygors] also Joanna Horner (not Susan) & the little girl.

I hope you will have a sight of Crick Howel & some of Monmouthshire.

Very prosperous accts of Wm ─ w. beaut weather ─ He has left Sara for 2 days & is gone to the Bel Alpe for bracing & hoping to find Tyndall still there.

[from p. 1:] Mr Hacon requires the exact words of the bequest to Bessy P. [Bessy Pearce, Erasmus' servant] so she must wait for you return.
