My dear George
I will send this by the [insertion:] (Leo) wedding party tomorrow — I am very glad the Grove is so nice. We have accepted Mrs Jebb's most moderate terms from Nov 1st to May 1st. [insertion:] (renting 'Springfield' at end of the Bad…)
It will be much the most comfortable plan.

Frank & I both wish to employ Mr Marshall so I suppose he wd be the best man to inspect it —I do hope you have taken a turn my dear old man—yours E. D—
I returned this P. M. from Ellen Tollets after a very peaceful & comf.

week only saddened by seeing her in so much lower a state. Hen. came on Sat & returned with me today —
