Isabel Akers is here & she & Bessy got up at 5.30 this morning to see the Comet, but w. no success — She is v. pleasant & nice & says that Mrs M'Lennan has really taken a turn & comes often to their house & actually went shopping to Bromley — Jo. is now having a play w. B. which he has been most anxious for—
