Davidson, TR

9, SALISBURY ROAD.
WEST BRIGHTON

2 July 1882.

Dear Sir,

I read in the Standard newspaper of the 26th of May that you wished letter written by your father to be forward to you.

Besides the great honour of having been personally acquinted with Dr Darwin

[49v]

I have correspondence with him on different occassions.

I enclose two of his letter as they are interesting as expressing his views on certain subjects.

At any time when you require them no longer I should be glad to have them returned to me, as I value them much as a remembrance of the greatest naturalist

[49b]

England has produced.

I am dear sir

Yours sincerely

Thos Davidson
