My dear George,

I am so grieved at yours & Maud's loss – And its my loss in its degree. I had been looking forward so much to the happiness of baby life beginning again for me — It is so pathetic

that the little life shall end before it has begun almost — I am sure Gwenny will feel it very much & the other children too.

Give dear old Gwenny my love.

And my dear dear

love to Maud & truest sympathy. It will be bad for her progress —

Will Helen send me a bulletin tomorrow?

My dear George
