[Nyctelia puncticollis] Several specimens of this species were collected at Bahia Blanca by Mr. Darwin, who says they are 'tolerably abundant on sand-hillocks.'

Mr. Darwin found this Curculio [Cylydrorhinus angulatus] "lying dead by thousands on all parts of the plains at St. Julian, both far in the interior and near the coast."¹
