67 Darwin (Charles)

A.L.S. 4pp., 8vo. to Mrs. Marsh, dated December 1st, n.y. He apologises for not replying to her kind note sooner, but he has been staying in London. He encloses a note for her to send on to Mr. Corbett; he is ashamed to say that he has forgotten both his christian name and address. He says that he has given him all the information he could, 'but it is worse than useless to try and make chance experiments in diet.' He ends by saying that, 'Emma has brought a cold back from London and is in bed, otherwise, she would have written and sent a note better worth receiving than this'.
