Science Gossip. May 67 p. 114. A writer says he finds oxlips frequently amongst Primroses, but never amongst Cowslips.

Other writers subsequently (June 1st) 1867 says this is not so— but one of them says no oxlips where primroses abound, but where there are no cowslips! — Above writer describe wild oxlip with some flowers like primrose with no peduncle, & others on peduncle, & (these are clearly oxlip x primrose.)—
