Cowslip-Polyanthus Long-styled (C.) which seeded during 1866 in greenhouse & was very fertile; some plants were planted in Orchard, but I neglected to record how many 20 flowers were fertilised with own pollen, probably 10, & produced only 5 pods, with seed as above wretched. —
But then the weather was atrociously bad.—
