[B115]

Oxalis (Biophytum) sensitiva Perfect flowers.

Length of stigma lobes:

Short-styled is to mid styled long styled as:

100 164 26 141 61 100

The stigma of short-styled is decidedly the least papillose & I fancy that the midstyled stigma is more papillose than the long-styled one; but there is not much difference here

The style of the long-styled has much many more [glandular] & simple hairs on it than the mid styled; & the short-styled style has none at all.

Pollen grains, longest diameter

From long anthers of short style = 100

From mid anthers of short style = 91

From short anthers of mid style = 84

No other difference in appearance of pollen grain

(Introduce with Table of pollen)
