An ordinary mid-styled plant (B) fertilised by sh longer stamen of a homomorphic à Aug' 13th long-styled seedling
This might to have been a perfectly fertile union.
24 flowers were fertilised & they produced 19 pods—
1 pod — 65 seed, but all shrivelled & bad
2 — 59 rather better seed, but poor
3 such poor seed not worth counting.
4 — numerous wretched greenish seed
5 — do do do
not worth counting any more

Ordinary Long-styled plant 25 flowers fert. heteromorphically by pollen of long stamen of homomorphic mid-styled seedling, produced only 4 pods—
1 – no good seeds
2. — 3 moderately plump seed
3. — 5 good seeds or almost good—
