But this does not is by no means seem, to be the case if we may judge judging from the size of the ovaria in the flowers, when they fully expanded; for the average mean length & breadth of the ovaries of were multiplied into together each other, & result was is separated by the so as to obtain a rough notion of their its bulk, if in each of 3 forms; & calling that of long-styled 100, that of the mid-styled is 108, & that of the short-styled only 940,
