Hottonia
Distance from middle of anther to middle of stigma in short-styled is li same distance in long-styled as 100: 71
So that distance greater in short-styled & than are the more sterile with own pollen
Anther of short-style li anther of long as 100 82.6
3 flowers of each measured
But Frank says same rule holds good with P. angustifolia & in the short-styled is far more fertile than long-styled with own pollen.
So it is with [illeg] grandiflorum — Hence rule first altogether with dimorphic plants
