self-fertilisation not one set a vestige of a seed— 138 flowers under the net & not one set vestige of seed— Perhaps some few might have been visited by insects, when other short-styled flowers were covered But I might say all under set (over)

145 flowers were visited by Bees, (as I saw,) & not one set even a vestige of a seed— All the short-styled were covered up & so could only get own pollen, & from position of flower could hardly have failed—
