Lagerstroemia ─ India & Canton Formosa ─ Hong Kong

Mollia lepidota ─ certainly two lengths of stamens ─ in the same flower but the longer ones seem always longer than the style

Many styles broken; stamens in bundles; M. longifolia in fruit ─ examined others 3 or 4 gathering of each species ─ No short-styles that I could find

Gillia (Leptosiphon) micrantha ─ certainly too lengths of pistil

Gillia rudicaulis few specs in Kew Herb ─

Gillia micrantha long styled style project far but stamen also visible projecting above corolla

G. lincella, bicolor, lutens very few specs & I could not see well

I Phlox subulata the specimen I have called long styled was the only one I could find with projecting style, one of same twig had projecting anthers also

H. inflata had spec in joint
