It diminished with the growth of the leaves and ultimately ceased altogether. Secreted by glands in the stalk — He does not say it is sweet —

p 36 Dimorphic

Bernouilli said (Bot Zeit 1869) that the coffee was dimorphic. He Ernst has carefully sought for the little flowers which Bernouilli says are alone fertile but cannot find them. But the normal big flowers are fertile, proterandrons & visited by insects
