N. M. 37. p. 291. Burnett — on Feb 11. squall from SE. changed in ESE on 12th regular N.E. wind — then became hazy — upper current SW — on 13th haze increased & formed the dust — 14th continued — 15th cleared away in evening — nearest land 600 miles — observed in April 1836

No especial case in N. M. 1868 p. 824 only remarks on Roussin.
