Beta vulgaris— circumnutation of Hypocotyl, observed during 9 hours — from 8° 30 a.m to 5. 30 P.m. somewhat deflected by lateral light, The seedling traced on a horizontal glass. The upper side of the figure is that when the taper position when the lighted taper was held when each dot was made is shown by the general direction of the whole figure, & this coincides with that of the line between the two first dots a line joining the first & penultimate dots.
