Sleep of Cotyledons

Nov. 14th

Mustard. I can see no evidence of what may be called sleep During short winter day. Strongly Heliotropic will turn twice during single day to light in reversed directions. The stem bend to rubbed side — tried on 9 seedlings (used)

Mustard Nov. 24th 10° 15' P.m, the upper Cot. in 3 vertical, not so in 2 others.

Nov. 25' 7° a.m. these Cots certainly not so vertical as they were at night. —

Nov. 25' 12° noon.
