Canary grass

several seedlings with caps of tin foil protected from light on all sides except S.W. window

2° 40' 2 somewhat bent & 2 not so. — None of tall-ones bent!— 4° I found 1 more bent, but bent transversely to light, & the caps on all were loose so might have admitted reflected light from  soil.—
