Oct. 13th 62 have looked carefully no movement in the sensitive tentacle – leaf dry nothing to tempt insects & so probably is Drosera – Movement not quite instantaneous, but very nearly so.

When I get home, hold = Dionæa leaf with my thumb so that it cannot close & see if filament uses for this is important with respect to convergence of irritation
