June 13' Opium Powder & Sawdust
Opium at 8˚ 9' & sawdust last put on
8˚ 25 the coarse grain of opium has caused plain inflection in one leaf!! & when washed no difference in amount on the 2 sides —
Neither side has acted on 2d leaf
14' 7˚ 30 opium has acted [illeg] more than sawdust—
8˚ 42 2d lot in glass vessel
2˚ In all 3 specimens the opium has certainly caused more inflection than the sawdust — In the 1' specs. They seemed to act equally. Oh oh. oh.
