Sept 10th — After rather cold night, plant in greenhouse, at 8° 20' I routed several tent, 2 moved a little: I put on 3 bits of blue glass; 2 corks & 2 cinders; all but the latter was carried inwards.

I then put plant under Bell-glass with hot water & raised temp to 75° & 80˚; but when I routed several tentacles, repeatedly, not one moved
