(9) July 29th    10O 45    Prussic Acid — 2 part of   water to 1 Scheels mixture which has 6 per cent of pure acid ∴ 2 per cent in my solution (11O 30; no effect.

   ( 12O    glands like porcelain , a vy few inflected.)

(2O 45', all but 5 inflected, out in pure water   : this shows that power of movement retained after glands have become dull dirty white.)

(July 30'    8O 30'. same state, looks nearly dead)

   ― 31    8O 15 in same state all tent except tents  over pedicel & on one side ( which are still purple ,are colourless & evidently killed

 (10)    do    do    do    11O 30' no effect .

   (12O glands like porcelain , 17 or 18 tents inflected (2O 45' out in pure water)

      2O 45' all but 1 closely inflected

(July 30'  8O 30'    all tentacle closely inflected — looks dead, no segregation— appears flaccid & dead with microscope)

   (11O 33' [+] 12 [=] 45'  discoloration glands like porcelain,   flaccid ,  a vy few tent. irregularly inflected.

(1O 45' same state, outer tent. reflexed, out in C. of Am 1 g t 1 oz.)

(30' . 8 . 30'    seem more expanded — looks dead— tentacles flaccid evidently dead — no segregation & certainly no inflection)
