Globulin soaked for nearly a day (& left in water)
4 leaves. May 8th /74/ 7º 37' A.m.
12º some inflection
2 30 do— not very strongly marked
4º 30 submarginals & discals inflected
6 45 consid. inflection of neighbouring tentacles but not very great but they are small splinters
May 9th. 7º 30' Am consid. inflect. in 2 leaves; moderate in other 2
― 12th 3 leaves were all open yesterday examined them today — Angles as sharp as ever possibly softer than water specimen— but two below will be best to examine, as more closely inflected
May 9' 7º 40 put 2 leaves to immersed in water with fragments of globulin since May 7th
some inflection 9º. 40' 10º 30. very great inflection of both leaves
12º tremendously inflected, every tentacle & lamina.—
May 9th 7º 45' 4' sticks with line. 4 goodish sized pieces of globulin with small drop of distilled water.
(9º some inflection.) 9º. 35' decided inflection in 1 leaf (12º very marked inflection)
3º great inflection in 2 or 3 of specimen
5º Lamina of 3 inflected
