Globulin soaked for nearly a day (& left in water)

4 leaves. May 8th /74/ 7° 37' A.m.

12° some inflection

2 30 do— not very strongly marked

4° 30 submarginals & discals inflected

6 45 consid. inflection of neighbouring tentacles but not very great but they are small splinters

May 9th. 7° 30' Am consid. inflect. in 2 leaves; moderate in other 2

― 12th 3 leaves were all open yesterday examined them today — Angles as sharp as ever possibly softer than water specimen— but two below will be best to examine, as more closely inflected

May 9' 7° 40 put 2 leaves to immersed in water with fragments of globulin since May 7th

some inflection 9°. 40' 10° 30. very great inflection of both leaves

12° tremendously inflected, every tentacle & lamina.—

May 9th 7° 45' 4' sticks with line. 4 goodish sized pieces of globulin with small drop of distilled water.

(9° some inflection.) 9°. 35' decided inflection in 1 leaf (12° very marked inflection)

3° great inflection in 2 or 3 of specimen

5° Lamina of 3 inflected
