Nov 15— /74/ Glycerine, I suppose from strong attraction of water cause in few minutes some aggregation, but this in uninjured specimen commences at the glands & travels downwards.

G. also commence in a few minutes well-marked aggregation, commence in [2 words illeg] to glands; & this I presume may be attributed to the strong attraction when the secretion fluid has found water.
