May 12 7° 48'. 3 leaves (2 wh. had not acted with cinders) put immerse gently into unboiled Linseed oil.— (The long-stalked fresh leaf)
8°. 20' consid. inflection in younger leaf, long footstalk
Fatty Acids??
8° 50' strong inflection in 2d leaf & & some in third much aggregation in 2 leaves. Secretion coloured pink, & apparently much increased.
9° 45' great inflection in 3d spec.
― glands not blackened. —
12° all enormously inflected — secretion more increased— much aggregation.
May 15th. all 3 inflected not very flaccid
