June 12th 8° A.m. Final conclusion about Gluten —
The bits of which I changed places on the 11th are now dried up— I can see traces of 3 of the 5 bits originally put on — Though I have lost 2, I think it probable that all is never dissolved — that there is a residue as with Drosera
