Sept 29th Orifice on concave side of young branches - all bladders well developed in winter buds. - orifice near footstalk of bladder.
When measured with 2d power & tube drawn out bladder hollow when 60 divisions long, & with valve seen dipping into nearly middle of valve - valve continuation of dorsal side
Saw 2 Bladders of above size with 2 incipient antennae certainly unequal ie. 60 divisions with 2d object glass.
