Examined a bladder of U. intermedia in which were a cypris and the remains of another Entomostracan. In some places the quadrifids were full of large spherical & irregular masses. In one I saw 2 spheres coalesce. The aggregation was much more marked in some places than others. The utricular layer was much shrunk; this was also the case in a specimen I examined before where we did not see any [aggregation]
