Drosophyllum

The leaves are much attenuated — in section on upper side concave, sometimes angularly concave — lower surface convex, with narrow channel running down middle.

Neither scratching, pricking, raw raw meat or saliva caused trace of movements in lamina (or tentacles)

The tentacles (I use same name as with Drosera) very vary much in length of pedicel, which is green, & in sizes of glands — Besides these larger, purple glands on pedicels there are other colourless, much smaller & sessile ones, which on back of leaf are generally oval instead of [sketch]. They have same peculiar internal structure as the large glands. As far as I have seen these smaller glands on either side do not secrete, but they can absorb just like the gl large purple glands.— Will Do they secrete in hot weather or when stimulated by caught insects? —
