Sept 2d 9° 23' A.m. 4 gr of Nitrate of Potash to 1 oz distilled water — (not sunshine) on leaf (one long hair already naturally inflected a few central ones a little bent inward on footstalk side)
5° 30' no effect produced.
Sept 3d I am doubtful whether some effect is not being produced. No I think not for Plant was dying.
Sept 2 9.35. Muriate of Ammonia 4 gr. to 1 oz not sunshine no effect produced, but then drop did X not stay well on leaf — leaf apparently injured. Sept 3d no apparent effect
