The little papillæ may be rudiments of the smaller sessile glands of Drosophyllum & Dionæa, & the leaves of the tentacles; but there is firstly, no marked distinction between the 2 sets & fully graduate into each other

In D. dichotoma the shorter rudimentary t. graduate into the mounted glands.
