Tom 30 Another Paper. It appears there is pretty good series from non-venomous to those of the 2d Division of Ven (viz with large hind poisonous maxillary) but then a jump to the 1st division of most poisonous snakes. Innocent snake with large hind max. tooth (snakes with do without a furrow for poison (p. 12 & 15) with part of salivary gland united with poisonous gland & with muscles partially adapted to squeeze out poison - show a gradation in the two glands & show saliva somewhat injurious wh. do replace each other in degrees of development & we have series - but no series can then be made to 1st Division of venomous snakes.
